Job summary

CPS Group (UK) Limited is seeking an experienced SC Cleared Service Designer to drive end-to-end service design across public sector and government projects. This remote role requires active SC clearance and alignment with GDS standards, working within multidisciplinary teams.

You will map journeys, define service architecture, and ensure public services are intuitive and accessible, with collaboration across researchers, designers, managers, and architects.

Qualifications

• Active UK Security Clearance (SC) is required.
• Proven experience in designing end-to-end services with a user-centered approach.
• Strong knowledge of the GDS Service Standard and Service Manual.
• Experience using design/prototyping tools such as Miro, Figma, Lucidchart.

Responsibilities

• Map user journeys, blueprints, and touchpoints across physical and digital channels.
• Ensure designs meet GDS standards and accessibility requirements.
• Collaborate with User Researchers, Interaction Designers, Product Managers, and Technical Architects.
• Identify pain points and opportunities to streamline complex processes.
• Facilitate workshops and clearly communicate design decisions to stakeholders.
