Public Sector Resourcing is seeking a SaaS Applications Specialist for a 6-month contract with the Met Office. The role is remote with occasional travel to Exeter and requires SC clearance.

You will support GitHub, Jira, Confluence, LucidSuite, IntelliJ, and related integrations, and work within the IT Asset Management team to improve software asset management tooling and processes. You will rotate between tooling support and software asset management tasks, guiding juniors and coordinating

Formación

• Hands-on SaaS DevOps tooling administration and configuration.
• Strong ITIL-based application operations, monitoring, and incident handling.
• Ability to implement changes following change management standards.
• Effective collaboration with developers, product teams and stakeholders.
• Willingness to stay current with emerging tools and practices.

Responsabilidades

• Act as primary technical contact for tools like GitHub, Jira, Confluence, LucidSuite, IntelliJ and integrations.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex issues across the DevOps tooling portfolio.
• Plan and implement changes to enhance tooling capabilities in line with standards.
• Mentor and support junior team members, coordinate workload, and escalate technical queries.
