Job summary

Consulting firm seeks DevOps Engineer Consultants (Junior to Senior) to drive cloud adoption and transformation for government and enterprise clients across the UK. The role is remote-first with ad hoc client visits, fully expensed, and salary up to £55k plus benefits.

Key duties include AWS-based projects, implementing IaC, CI/CD pipelines, automation, containerisation and microservices, and advising on DevSecOps and cloud security. UK SC clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for SC clearance.
• Experience with AWS Cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of IaC, CI/CD, automation scripting/deployment, containerisation and microservices.
• Proven ability to advise on DevOps best practices, strategies and solutions for clients.
• Understanding of DevSecOps and cloud security; consultancy experience in UK GovSec is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver DevOps/Cloud transformation projects across government, finance, retail and energy sectors.
• Provide client-facing DevOps guidance, best practices and recommendations.
• Work in a remote-first, hybrid environment with occasional client-site visits in the UK.

Job description

My client is a leading Digital Consultancy specialising in Cloud Adoption, Digital Architecture/Transformation & NextGen AI Solutions, with offices in London, Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow, providing a remote first policy + ad hoc client site visits when required (on average 1-2 visits per month and is fully expensed).

We are looking to hire multiple DevOps Engineer Consultants (Jnr/Mid to Senior) to join a rapidly growing team, working across multiple DevOps/Cloud transformation projects within Government, Finance, Retail & Energy sectors (among others).

Consultant level budget: up to £55000 + full benefits + flexi working (option of remote or hybrid + ad hoc client site travel)

Primary requirements:

• Must be eligible for SC clearance
• Experience in AWS Cloud services
• Good working knowledge in IaC, CI/CD, Automation Scripting/Deployment, Containerisation & Microservice platforms
• Proven track record providing client DevOps Best Practice, Strategies & Solutions recommendations
• Understanding and familiarity of DevSecOps and Cloud Security
• Background in Consultancy and UK GovSec would be desired
