Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited in Frimley, Surrey is seeking an experienced DevSecOps / Software Factory Engineer to support a major UK defence programme. The role focuses on developing and improving a Software Factory to enable modern, efficient software delivery within an Agile team.

You will work on DevSecOps and cloud solutions, with hybrid working up to one day onsite per week. SC clearance is required. The role is initially 6 months with hourly umbrella rate of £67.70, Inside IR35.

Qualifications

• Experience in DevSecOps / DevOps engineering.
• CI/CD and development tooling experience.
• Cloud computing / cloud-ready environments.
• Software integration and testing in agile contexts.
• Designing and implementing technical solutions.
• Secure or air-gapped environments would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions for the Software Factory.
• Work within an Agile team alongside the Scrum Master and Product Owner.
• Support developers with design, development and code reviews.
• Support software integration and product testing.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of DevSecOps approaches and processes.
• Support downstream product integration within secure, air-gapped environments.
