Job summary

Opus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a DevOps / Cloud Engineer (AWS) for a hybrid role in London. The ideal candidate will work 1 day per week onsite, with an initial 6-month contract and immediate start.

You will design secure AWS infrastructure, implement IaC with Terraform, and drive CI/CD with GitHub Actions and Jenkins. The role requires active SC clearance and strong experience in Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), Linux, Bash scripting, and cloud security.

Qualifications

• Active SC Clearance required and experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient with Linux administration and scripting (Bash).
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain secure AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code (Terraform).
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Deploy and manage Docker containers and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Implement monitoring and observability to improve platform visibility.
• Automate deployment using Python and Bash scripting.
• Ensure security, compliance and governance across cloud environments.
• Support DevSecOps and Platform Engineering initiatives.
