Job summary

A leading technology company based in Guildford is seeking a skilled Java Developer for a 12-month contract. This hybrid role involves working with an Agile Scrum team on innovative Geospatial software using the latest cloud technologies. The successful candidate will take part in the entire software development lifecycle and must be proficient in Java and Cloud Services development. You will be required to be in the office 3 days a week with 2 days of remote work.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing Java applications with cloud services.
• Proficiency in writing unit tests for software.
• Familiarity with Agile practices and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality, readable, scalable and maintainable code.
• Contribute to quality assurance through unit and automated tests.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning.
