Pigtails & Crewcuts, voted Favorite Kid's Haircut in Birmingham by Birmingham Parent Magazine, is growing and we’d love for you to be part of the team! We offer haircuts for the whole family, ear piercing, fairy hair, hair wraps, nail polishing, make up application, birthday parties, and more!

What we're looking for:

• Someone who is outgoing and loves talking to people
• Someone who is available during the week, as well as weekday holidays when school is out, Spring Break, Fall Break, Winter Break, etc.
• Someone who has excellent customer service skills as well as previous experience working as a receptionist (preferred, not a must).
• Someone who is a team player and can handle a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities. Responsibilities include greeting guests as they enter, checking clients in for appointments, scheduling appointments, checking out customers, and assisting in various salon duties with an emphasis on cleaning and sanitization.

Compensation: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

We have themed & adult styling chairs, “mom chairs” at each styling station, age appropriate movies playing throughout the day, video game consoles, party room, a train table, toys, and retail offerings including hair accessories & hair care products.

Each salon is locally owned & operated, and our family approach has made us one of the most respected children’s hair salon franchises in the country.
