We’re looking for a professional, approachable and highly organised Admin Receptionist to join our welcoming Birmingham primary school.
This is a long-term position for someone who enjoys being the heartbeat of the front office—greeting families, supporting staff, and making sure the day-to-day runs smoothly.
️ Previous experience in a school office or education setting
️ Confident user of SIMS and/or ParentPay systems
️ Excellent communication skills—warm, clear, and professional
️ Ability to stay calm, prioritise tasks, and multitask in a busy environment
️ A polite, friendly, and proactive approach to every day
Being the first point of contact for pupils, parents and visitors
Managing calls, emails and general admin tasks efficiently
Supporting the wider admin team with pupil records, registers and finance tasks
Maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding at all times
