About the Role
As the company continues to grow, it is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead, motivate and develop a team of consultative sales professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys building high-performing teams, developing people and delivering strong commercial results—without losing sight of the customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Leading, motivating and inspiring the team to achieve and exceed key performance targets
- Monitoring performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Delivering regular coaching, training and development sessions
- Supporting team members with their personal and professional progression
- Creating an engaging, accountable and high-performing sales environment
- Working closely with fellow managers and other departments to support wider business goals
- Ensuring customers remain at the heart of the sales process
- Leading from the front and becoming actively involved in the sales operation when required
Qualifications
- At least 18 months' experience in a sales management role
- Experience leading a high-activity B2B or B2C sales team
- A background in consultative sales
- A strong track record of achieving commercial targets
- Practical experience of coaching and developing salespeople
- Excellent leadership, communication and relationship-building skills
- A positive, adaptable and hands-on management style
- Sound commercial judgement and a commitment to delivering positive customer outcomes
