Job summary

KCGroup in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Sales Support Coordinator to provide comprehensive administrative support to the sales team and deliver high standards of customer service to external clients.

The role requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks across CRM and ERP tools; SAP experience is advantageous, and familiarity with Microsoft Teams is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a sales support, sales administration or similar administrative role.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and deal with general customer enquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Process sample requests from architects, contractors and other customers, including requests received via the website.
• Liaise with suppliers to arrange samples and monitor deliveries, keeping the relevant sales team members updated.
• Maintain and review sample reports to identify and monitor new business opportunities.
• Prepare customer quotations, including initial pricing and revised or duplicated quotations.
• Create and maintain product information and pricing records across internal systems.
• Arrange product testing and obtain relevant certification and documentation when required.
• Process project registrations and reservations on behalf of the sales team.
• Provide product-specific technical information and data sheets to customers and colleagues.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and project information within the CRM system.
• Use Microsoft Teams and other internal systems to organise and maintain project-related sales information.
• Prepare professional emails, letters and other correspondence as required.
• Work closely with both internal and external sales teams to ensure enquiries and customer requirements are dealt with promptly.
