Job summary

• Good standard of general education, including English and Maths or equivalent. (E)

Responsibilities

• Keep in regular contact with customers by following up quotations, gathering feedback and spotting opportunities to turn quotes into orders
• Make friendly and confident outbound calls to prospective customers who have shown interest via our marketing campaigns or website enquiries
• Ask the right questions to understand customer needs, qualify leads and move through to quotation stage
• Manage daily quotation follow-up calls in line with KPIs, keeping momentum and ensuring customers receive a timely response
• Log calls, actions and follow-ups clearly so nothing gets missed
• Keep the CRM database well maintained, ensuring customer details, sales information and quotation updates are accurate
• Record callback dates, actions and notes on HubSpot so our sales team always have clear and up-to-date information
• Build a good understanding of the company's products, capabilities, margins and production lead times to support helpful customer conversations
• Work closely with the sales team and Business Development Managers, providing cheerful, reliable and proactive support with sales activity and administration
• Help progress outstanding quotations, identify confirmed orders and make sure the sales forecast reflects current opportunities accurately
• Prepare costing estimates and supporting documentation for customer enquiries
