Job summary

Red Door Recruitment is partnering with an ambitious, sustainable company just minutes from the town centre to recruit a Sales Order Processor. The role focuses on accurate order processing and delivering excellent customer service in a busy environment.

You will liaise with customers, inventory and 3PL to ensure stock availability, resolve issues, and support the sales team with timely order fulfilment. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with a bonus scheme and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of order processing/sales support/sales administration experience
• Educated to Degree level
• Maintain professional relationships with customers

• Intermediate IT skills including Excel
• SAP experience would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Processing sales orders and providing excellent customer service
• Resolving sales order queries and liaising with customers to resolve issues
• Advising sales account managers of customer shortages
• Maintaining relationships with Inventory and 3PL to ensure stock availability
• Ensuring orders are routed and outbound deliveries transmitted to 3PL
• Monitoring and fixing SAP idoc errors daily
• Participating in weekly team meetings
• Raising credit notes against customer claims
• Contributing to profit improvement and cost reduction ideas
• Raising export documentation as necessary

Key responsibilities

• Processing sales orders received and providing excellent customer service
• Resolving all sales order queries, liaising with our customers to resolve any issues, escalating when necessary to your line manager.
• Advising the sales account managers of customer shortages.
• Maintaining a close relationships with the Inventory team and 3PL to ensure stock availability to fulfil sales orders on a daily basis and helping to achieve agreed service level targets.
• Ensuring that all orders are routed and outbound deliveries are transmitted to 3PL for despatch
• Monitoring and fixing SAP idoc errors on a daily basis.
• Participating and contributing to weekly team meetings
• Advising the sales account managers of customer shortages
• Reviewing the operational performance on Vendor Central for Amazon
• Working closely with the Finance Team & 3PL to set up new accounts, pricing, Ship-To records and other Customer Master Data in SA
• Investigating and raising credit notes against customer claims.
• Contributing ideas for profit improvement, cost reduction, system and process improvement
• Working closely with the Finance Team & 3PL to set up new accounts, pricing, Ship-To records and other Customer Master Data in SAP
• Raising export documentation as necessary
