Position Overview

Our Commercial team is growing, and we’re looking for a Sales Ops Executive with a people-first mindset and a problem-solving approach. This role is essential to building smart, scalable solutions across our sales processes while supporting the day-to-day running of systems like HubSpot.

You’ll engage confidently with colleagues across the organisation and at all levels, taking the time to understand, evaluate, and reframe processes to work better for everyone. Your ability to provide clear guidance and training will be key in helping our Commercial team – and the wider business – adopt and understand new ways of working.

This is a hands-on role where your contributions will directly improve our sales team's operations, enabling us to grow revenue and deliver great client outcomes. If you're organised, curious, and thrive on helping others succeed, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supportive Sales Admin: Be the go-to person for quotes, proposals, contracts, and client documents. Champion responsiveness in shared inboxes and ensure all sales materials meet high standards.
  • CRM Champion: Maintain clean, accurate CRM data (HubSpot), support the team with data quality and integrity, and maintain integrations with our tech stack. Train new starters on CRM processes.
  • Client-Focused Coordination: Track orders, process invoices, and communicate clearly with clients and teams on timelines, working closely with the Finance team to solve issues quickly and collaboratively.
  • Sales Process Optimiser: Help streamline workflows, identify gaps, and train the team on new tools and updates to help make the sales process smoother for everyone involved. Work with IT to resolve technical issues and implement improvements.
  • Marketing & Growth Collaboration: Partner with marketing to align sales efforts, support campaigns, and equip the team with the right materials to win and grow business.
  • Cross-Functional Liaison: Work across departments to ensure a seamless client experience – from the first sale to service delivery – and help keep sales aligned with company goals.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Team Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • CRM Expertise: Minimum of 2 years of experience with CRM systems, particularly HubSpot CRM.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to manage data, documents, and processes precisely to avoid errors and ensure seamless operations.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and produce reports.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyse sales data and generate meaningful insights to guide decision-making.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with SaaS products and tools, understanding how they contribute to sales processes.
  • Proactiveness: Ability to own and drive projects and process flows from start to finish as well as drive self-management and effectiveness of the role to ensure contribution and value to the function as well as the broader organisation.
