Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking a confident Sales Advisor in Manchester to join a small team. You will drive sales through enquiries and face-to-face interactions, and support the day-to-day running of the site with hands-on operational duties, including forklift work.

The role combines customer service, sales, and operational responsibilities in a busy environment. Weekend work is required, with full training and ongoing support provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales and upselling in a face‑to‑face environment.
• Confident, professional when dealing with customers and strong listening skills.
• Able to work towards sales targets and convert inquiries to sales.
• Comfortable with administration and clerical tasks.
• Willing to work weekends on a shift basis.

Responsibilities

• Deal with customer enquiries face-to-face and over the phone.
• Understand customer requirements and advise on products and services.
• Identify and maximise sales opportunities to achieve targets.
• Build strong relationships with customers and manage accounts.
• Complete administration accurately in line with procedures.
• Operate a forklift as required (training can be given).
• Carry out site checks and maintain standards.
• Follow health & safety procedures and company policies.
• Support with operational duties and general site tasks.
