Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection LTD is helping a well-established British supplier of converting machinery to find a Sales Manager. You will drive sales of converting systems into corrugated and carton markets across the UK and Europe, leveraging a proven field-sales track record.

The role is remote, home-based with UK focus and some European travel. A generous commission scheme, company car option, and strong pension contribute to a compelling package.

Qualifications

• Must have proven track record selling converting machinery to the corrugated and carton markets.
• Experience with print/production backgrounds is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sell full range of converting machinery to UK and European customers.
• Develop and manage existing UK accounts in year one.
• Grow new European business from year two, with occasional international travel.

As a Sales Manager, do you have a track record of selling converting machinery into the corrugated and carton packaging markets? BASIC SALARY: up to £75,000

LOCATION

This is a field sales role, based from home - you will be covering the whole of the UK (85% of time) and Europe (15% of time), so a central UK location would be ideal - or close to major UK airport

JOB DESCRIPTION

A classic Product Sales Manager role where you will be responsible for selling the companies complete range of converting machinery systems into the corrugated packaging and carton markets across the whole UK and then into Europe too.

Your first year focus will be on the UK, managing and developing existing accounts with a very realistic and historically achievable target. In year two you will be expected to spend 15% of your time developing new business in Europe - spending 1 week every 2 months abroad.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• You MUST have a proven track record of selling converting machinery to the corrugated and carton markets.
• You will ideally have a technical print background and any relevant print qualifications would be advantageous.

THE COMPANY

A well established British supplier of converting machinery systems sold to the corrugated and carton markets. They have other divisions selling digital print, post press print and packaging machinery into other markets.
