Wallace Hind Selection is seeking a Sales Manager for converting machinery in the corrugated and carton packaging sectors. You will work from home, covering the UK with substantial UK activity and a defined European travel component.

A strong track record in selling converting machinery is essential. In year one you will focus on consolidating and expanding existing UK accounts, with a clear revenue target.

Qualifications

• Manage and develop existing accounts in the UK with realistic targets.
• In year two, spend ~15% of time developing new business in Europe (1 week every 2 months abroad).

BASIC SALARY:

up to £75,000

LOCATION:

This is a field sales role, based from home - you will be covering the whole of the UK (85% of time) and Europe (15% of time), so a central UK location would be ideal - or close to major UK airport

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Sales Manager, Product Sales Manager, Converting Sales Specialist, Technical Sales Manager - converting machinery, corrugated, carton, packaging

A classic Product Sales Manager role where you will be responsible for selling the companies complete range of converting machinery systems into the corrugated packaging and carton markets across the whole UK and then into Europe too.

Your first year focus will be on the UK, managing and developing existing accounts with a very realistic and historically achievable target. In year two you will be expected to spend 15% of your time developing new business in Europe - spending 1 week every 2 months abroad.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• You MUST have a proven track record of selling converting machinery to the corrugated and carton markets.
• You will ideally have a technical print background and any relevant print qualifications would be advantageous.

THE COMPANY:

A well established British supplier of converting machinery systems sold to the corrugated and carton markets. They have other divisions selling digital print, post press print and packaging machinery into other markets.
