Job summary

Conquip Engineering Group in Alton, Hampshire, is seeking a detail-driven Sales Ledger Administrator to join our Finance team. You will own the invoicing process, ensure accurate billing, and protect the company’s financial performance by identifying discrepancies and resolving queries.

You will work closely with Finance, Hire Desk, Sales and Operations to maintain timely customer invoicing and account records, supporting month-end activities and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own the invoicing process and issue accurate customer invoices on time.
• Identify missed charges or unbilled transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Investigate billing queries and liaise with internal departments and customers.
• Verify customer purchase orders and prevent invoicing delays.
• Maintain up-to-date customer billing records and documentation.
• Support sales ledger administration, account reconciliations, and credit notes.
• Monitor outstanding queries and assist with month-end reporting.
