Job summary

Softcat plc is seeking a dynamic L&D Manager - Sales to lead the Sales L&D agenda and partner with senior sales stakeholders to design and deliver capability-building programs that boost performance and manager effectiveness.

You will drive transformation projects within the Sales function, build a modern sales development approach and collaborate with IT, external providers and SMEs for a cohesive learner journey.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in an L&D, Sales Enablement, Sales Capability or business partnering role.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Experience leading transformation projects from discovery to adoption.

Responsibilities

• Act as the strategic lead for Sales L&D and own the learning roadmap.
• Lead completion and embedding of transformation projects in flight.
• Move projects from design to practical delivery with clear ownership and milestones.
• Support rollout of new CRM system with learning initiatives.
• Partner with Sales, People, Enablement and external providers to create joined‑up development experiences.
