Job summary

Portakabin Ltd. is seeking a Sales Executive to drive sales in Trafford Park, Manchester. You will promote Portakabin products and services, manage quotations, and ensure timely responses to customer enquiries while supporting onboarding and training for new colleagues.

The role emphasises collaboration across teams to hit order targets, maintain stock and billing accuracy, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Administrative experience in a customer service environment.
• Experience in a target-driven environment.
• Experience in business development activities (inbound or outbound calling).
• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with SAP or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute all commercial administrative activities accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve order targets at agreed margins.
• Support onboarding and on-the-job training for new team members.
• Identify and resolve issues promptly to improve processes and share learning.
• Prioritise customer service to maximise satisfaction and ensure continuity of future opportunities.
• Collaborate to confirm stock availability, refurbishment and fit-out details.
• Quotations are prepared and followed up with customers on time.
• Respond to customer enquiries within agreed SLA timelines.
