Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Car Sales Executive for an established main dealership in Salisbury. The role offers £20,000 basic per annum with OTE up to £50,000, full-time permanent hours. Location: Salisbury.

The position emphasizes managing customer enquiries, selling both new and used vehicles, and building lasting customer relationships to generate repeat business. Benefits include life assurance, pension, staff discounts, EAP, retail discounts, and progression

Responsibilities

• Manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to vehicle handover
• Sell new and used vehicles while achieving sales targets
• Build strong relationships with customers to generate repeat business
• Present vehicles, arrange test drives and explain finance options
• Follow up showroom, telephone and online enquiries
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation
• Deliver excellent customer service throughout the sales process
• Previous experience as a Car Sales Executive, Automotive Sales Executive or Vehicle Sales Executive preferred
• Strong sales, negotiation and customer service skills
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets
• Confident managing customer enquiries and closing sales
• Professional communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively within a busy dealership

Job description
