Job summary

BrewDog PLC in London is seeking a UK Sales & Events Executive to join the UK team and support the Head of Sales in handling event bookings for BrewDog bars across the UK. You will work with a sales team to convert enquiries by building rapport, creating bespoke packages, and ensuring timely payments and pre-orders.

Qualifications

  • GCSEs or equivalent, ideally with further education in hospitality, events, or sales.
  • Experience in sales, event coordination, or a related role within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing event logistics.
  • Health & Safety knowledge: understanding of health and safety regulations related to events, including capacity management and fire safety.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing incoming event and booking enquiries for BrewDog bars across the UK.
  • Build rapport with clients to understand requirements and create bespoke packages and proposals.
  • Upsell and collect payments and pre-orders on time.
  • Identify special requirements and record them on every booking.
  • Organize large upcoming events across BrewDog bars, coordinating with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
  • Maintain a venue database with capacities and capabilities for each bar.
  • Reach out to previous large events and upsell to auto-confirm bookings where appropriate.

About The Role

Our bars are at the forefront of that mission, delivering amazing beer & customer service at all times. And now, we’re looking for a UK Sales & Events Executive to join the UK team in London.

In this role you’ll support the UK Head of Sales in managing incoming event and booking enquiries for BrewDog bars across the UK.

You’ll be part of an experienced sales team working with other Sales & Events Executives to successfully convert incoming enquiries through building rapport with each guest to understand their requirements, creating bespoke packages and proposals and upselling. You will also be tasked with collecting payments and pre orders on time, as well as identifying any special requirements and clearly marking these on every booking.

The role will also include the organisation of large upcoming events in BrewDog bars across the UK, through completing detailed handovers and liaising with kitchen and front of house teams where required. To ensure that only the most appropriate bookings are confirmed for each individual venue, you will also be responsible for creating and maintaining a venue database full of detailed information about all of the bar's capacities and capabilities.

There is a proactive element to the UK Sales Executive position, which will include reaching out to previous large events and upselling to auto confirmed bookings, amongst other tasks for specific bars.

About You
Qualifications & Specific Training
  • GCSEs or equivalent, ideally with further education in hospitality, events, or sales.
  • Experience in sales, event coordination, or a related role within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing event logistics.
  • Health & Safety Knowledge: Understanding of health and safety regulations related to events, including capacity management and fire safety.

  • Sales & Customer Service: Training in sales techniques, customer relationship management, and upselling.
  • Event Planning & Execution: Event planning and logistics training, including managing timelines and troubleshooting on the day.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Risk assessment training and understanding of fire safety and capacity regulations.

  • Sales & Business Development: Proven success in driving sales and securing new event bookings.
  • Event Coordination: Experience in organizing and managing events, ensuring seamless execution and client satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Skilled in building relationships with clients and delivering a high-quality guest experience.
  • Budget Management: Experience in managing budgets, tracking expenses, and reporting on financial performance.
  • Marketing & Promotion: Familiarity with event marketing strategies and promotion through digital and in-venue channels.
