Job summary

BrewDog, Edinburgh, is recruiting a Night Receptionist for our DogHouse Hotel. You’ll be responsible for ensuring guest safety and delivering the highest levels of service throughout the night, from check-in/out to room service and basic food handling.

Work alongside the bar and housekeeping teams to keep the operation running smoothly, undertake light cleaning, safety and standards checks, and assist with day-ahead set up.

Qualifications

• Previous reception/hospitality experience preferred.
• Experience in hotel overnight procedures is a plus.
• Excellent communication and guest-service skills.
• Highly organised with attention to detail.
• Able to work independently during night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Serve room service and support the 24hr menu.
• Coordinate with bar and housekeeping to keep operations smooth.
• Assist with basic cleaning and safety checks during the shift.
• Handle reservations and night audit tasks.
• Respond to emergencies and evacuate guests if needed.

About The Role

BREWDOG ARE ON THE HUNT FOR A NIGHT RECEPTIONIST FOR OUR DOGHOUSE HOTEL!

We're really excited to be recruiting for this varied role in our completely beer centric hotel! In this role you’ll be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our guests throughout the night, as well as giving the highest levels of customer service.

Duties will include, serving room service to guests, food handling to dish up our 24hr hot dog menu, working with the bar and housekeeping teams to ensure the operation is running as smoothly as possible. You will also be responsible for some cleaning tasks. You’ll also be responsible for safety checks, and standards checks throughout the shift, as well as some light set up duties for the day ahead.

In the event of an emergency, it would be your responsibility to safely evacuate the guests.

You’ll be working closely with the management and housekeeping teams to ensure our guests are welcomed into a stand-out venue.

About You

We are looking for a professional, reliable, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Night Receptionist. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently during overnight shifts, delivering exceptional guest service while ensuring the smooth and secure operation of the hotel throughout the night.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to welcome guests, handle enquiries, and resolve issues in a calm and professional manner. They will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks, including food handling, reservations, night audit procedures, and administrative duties.

Experience

• Familiarity with administrative tasks, and overnight procedures is beneficial
