Job summary

Thornhvac is seeking a Sales Engineer to sell a top range of Chillers and Commercial Heat Pumps into M&E Consultants and HVAC Contractors in the Bristol and Cardiff area. The role offers a strong basic and exceptional bonus with a mix of home-based and on-site customer visits.

You'll collaborate with internal teams, provide technical design advice, and help close orders to achieve targets, while representing a market-leading brand in innovative HVAC solutions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Chillers and / or Commercial Heat Pumps or related HVAC plant with a thermodynamic involvement.
• Experience dealing with M&E Consultants or Commercial HVAC Contractors in sales, applications, service or projects.
• Team player, confident presenter with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Work with other salespeople to receive inbound leads and support opportunities.
• Assist M&E Consultants or Designers with design and selection advice.
• Provide quotations or collaborate with internal sales to HVAC contractors.
• Negotiate and close orders to hit targets.
• Hybrid role combining home visits and face-to-face meetings.

If so, this Sales Engineer role could be perfect for you. I'm looking for a Sales Engineer to sell a top range of Chillers and Commercial Heat Pumps into M&E Consultants and HVAC Contractors in the Bristol and Cardiff area. Basic - very competitive, exceptional bonus.

THE ROLE

The role will include:

• Working with other Salespeople who will generate leads for you.
• Helping M&E Consultants or other Designers with design and selection advice.
• Providing a quotation, either yourself or working with the internal sales team to the relevant HVAC contractors working on the project.
• Negotiating and closing orders to hit target.
• A mix of home working and seeing customers face to face.
• Helping to upskill other Salespeople in the company
• Selling top quality innovative Chillers and Commercial Heat Pumps for commercial applications.

THE PERSON

Knowledge of Chillers and / or Commercial Heat Pumps or related HVAC plant with a thermodynamic involvement).

Experience of dealing with M&E Consultants or Commercial HVAC Contractors, either in a Sales role or an Applications, Service Engineer or Projects role.

Good team player.
