Job summary

Thornhvac in Scotland is seeking a Sales Engineer near Glasgow or Edinburgh to cover Scotland. Basic to £55K and bonus to £8K.

The role will assess a wide range of applications for a niche air conditioning product range, taking inquiries cradle-to-grave and visiting sites to gather information for selections then following up with quotations to contractors. Ideal candidates have a background in air conditioning, ventilation or refrigeration, including the domestic heat pump sector; titles

Qualifications

• Background in air conditioning, ventilation or refrigeration.
• Experience in domestic heat pump sector acceptable.
• Roles: Sales Engineer, Application Engineer, Internal Sales Engineer, Project Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Assess a wide variety of applications for niche air conditioning products.
• cradle-to-grave process from inquiry to selection and quotations.
• Visit sites to gather information and follow up contractors with quotations.
• Deliver CPDs and presentations to key customer groups (Consultants, Contractors, FM's and End Users).

THE COMPANY

This brand leading commercial and industrial HVAC manufacturer are looking for aSales Engineer close to Glasgow or Edinburgh to cover Scotland. Basic to £55K and bonus to £8K.

THE ROLE

The Sales Engineer's role is to assess a wide variety of applications for a niche range of air conditioning products. This is a cradle to grave role where you'll get the inquiry and often go to site to get the info to do selection and then follow up the contractors with the quotations. The role will involve CPDs and presentations. The main customer groups are Consultants, Contractors, FM's and End Users.

THE PERSON

As this is a relatively technical role, it would suit someone with abackground in air conditioning, ventilation or refrigeration. You could also have worked in the domestic heat pump sector, as long as you're used to doing selections. In terms of roles, you could have been a Sales Engineer or an Application Engineer or an Internal Sales Engineer or a Project Engineer.
