Salary: £Outstanding Basic + Company Car + Results Driven Bonus

We have a rare opportunity to join an award-winning, state-of-the-art packaging company, offering a wide range of innovative packaging solutions to large retail and blue-chip companies. Our client is looking for a Sales Director to work within the existing sales team and support aggressive growth plans. The successful candidate will have the ability to influence the future of the business by winning new business in strategic high-profile FMCG brand accounts.

The Role:

This role is suited to a highly motivated individual confident in both sales and managing a sales team. The successful candidate should be dynamic and ambitious, with a background working with or for large FMCG brands and familiarity with printed packaging.

Reporting to the Managing Director and serving as a board member, you will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing the sales strategy. Responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and implementing the sales strategy
  2. Achieving the sales budget as a minimum
  3. Presenting monthly sales performance to the board
  4. Supporting the sales team where applicable
  5. Working closely with the business to meet company objectives
  6. Traveling to meet customers, including European travel
  7. Leading from the front with enthusiasm and drive
  8. Being a positive, friendly, approachable, flexible, and hardworking team player
  9. Showing proactive, entrepreneurial, and innovative qualities
  10. Possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills
  11. Building strong, long-term relationships
  12. Having strong organizational and project management skills
  13. Preferred experience in print packaging
  14. Knowledge of FMCG brands and the client’s product portfolio (desirable)
  15. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  16. Holding a full driving license
