Job description

Job Title: Sales Director

Location: Huntingdon, PE29 3BP

Salary: Circa £60,000 – £70,000 plus commission/bonus, car or car allowance

A leading British manufacturing company specialising in precision plastic injection moulding, tooling, and product development is seeking an experienced Sales Director to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support all sales and marketing activities to facilitate growth through the development of existing business and new market opportunities.
  2. Ensure the company performs in line with its responsibilities and financial budgets.
  3. Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to expand the injection moulding business, focusing on sectors like furniture and packaging.
  4. Enhance online sales strategies, including email campaigns, SEO, and website growth.
  5. Identify and open new markets for growth in plastic injection moulding.
  6. Manage and develop online sales channels.
  7. Make key decisions within the sales department.
  8. Support internal and external customer visits.
  9. Oversee training to ensure staff development and department longevity.
  10. Develop new business and grow existing accounts.
  11. Perform other duties as necessary to meet job objectives.
Qualifications and Experience:

Proven background in manufacturing or engineering, with previous experience in plastic injection moulding. This is a hands-on role requiring visits to key clients and sites across the UK.
