MacGregor Black is partnering with a Premium Drinks Business on a high-growth journey in the search for a Sales Director. This is a permanent position based in London.

As the Sales Director, you will focus on developing and executing a national commercial strategy, managing key relationships, and delivering sustainable sales growth across multiple channels.

This is a brand with genuine momentum, founded by passionate industry insiders and backed by investment. They’ve built a beautifully crafted product with strong category potential and a clear commercial ambition to scale in the coming years. For the right person, this is a chance to make a tangible impact and grow with the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the UK sales strategy across both On Trade and Off Trade channels
  • Identify and secure new commercial opportunities with premium bars, restaurants, hotel groups, specialist retailers, national grocers, and e-commerce platforms
  • Build and manage relationships with key wholesale and distributor partners, ensuring strong alignment and sales performance
  • Set and track commercial KPIs, building accurate forecasts and reporting regularly to senior leadership and investors
  • Support brand planning and marketing alignment, ensuring commercial and brand activity are fully integrated
  • Represent the business at trade shows, tastings, and buyer meetings to build profile and brand awareness
  • Provide leadership on commercial structure and growth planning, including future team hires as the business scales

What are we looking for?

  • Proven track record of delivering sales growth in the UK drinks industry, ideally within premium spirits or challenger brands
  • Strong On & Off Trade knowledge, with an established network of buyers, distributors, and retail decision-makers
  • Experience working with national retail and wholesale customers, including contract negotiation and JBPs
  • Commercially minded with the ability to balance strategy with hands-on execution in a lean environment
  • Confident communicator with the gravitas to represent a premium brand at senior level
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable operating with autonomy
  • Based in or able to regularly access the London market
