Data Security Sales Development Representative – Southern Europe & French-Speaking Africa

Are you an ambitious, sales-driven individual with a passion for cybersecurity and a knack for finding and qualifying high-quality leads? Entrust is looking for a Data Security Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic team and focus on developing sales pipeline opportunities across Southern Europe and French-speaking Africa.

In this role, you will be crucial in driving our growth by managing inbound leads and executing proactive outreach to target prospects. If you're a multilingual communicator ready to leverage top-tier lead generation tools and collaborate with sales, marketing, and channel partners, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing:

You will be responsible for generating high-quality sales opportunities by working closely with our external sales, marketing, and channel teams in the region. Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Prospecting & Outreach: Researching, identifying, and reaching out to target prospects using cutting-edge tools like Salesloft, Cognnism, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. You'll communicate via email, social media, and telephone.
  • Lead Management: Contacting, qualifying, and managing incoming marketing leads from demand generation activities.
  • Value Communication: Effectively and persuasively communicating the Entrust Data Security value proposition.
  • Needs Analysis: Analysing customer data security needs and identifying opportunities for Entrust solutions.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with Channel partners to generate leads and develop opportunities, and collaborating with sales and marketing to maximize prospect potential.
  • Opportunity Support: Supporting the follow-up and closing of opportunities.
  • Marketing Support: Contributing to and supporting regional marketing activities.
Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

We are looking for a tenacious team player who is organized, detail-oriented, and has a strong track record of sales success.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of sales/business development or SDR experience.
  • Multilingual Fluency: Complete professional fluency (written and spoken) in Spanish, French, and English is essential for this region.
  • Sales Success: A consistent track record of attaining and exceeding personal / team goals and quotas.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven prospecting and qualification experience within sales.
  • Technical Knowledge: Knowledge and experience in the IT industry; experience selling cybersecurity products to IT departments and management is highly preferred.
  • Client Relationship Skills: Ability to build strong client relationships over the phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Tech Stack: Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), standard corporate productivity tools (Microsoft Office Suite), strong email, and web search skills.
  • Personal Attributes: An energetic, upbeat, and tenacious team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Ability to speak Italian is a plus.
