Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Sales Controller (Used Car Sales Controller) for a busy used car supermarket in Hinckley. You will lead a high-volume sales team, drive targets, and help close deals while ensuring FCA compliance and a great customer experience.

The role requires previous used car sales experience, leadership skills, a full UK driving licence, and the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support the sales team to achieve vehicle sales targets.
• Support Sales Executives with customer negotiations and closing deals.
• Maximise vehicle sales, finance penetration and additional product opportunities.
• Monitor sales performance, conversion rates and deal profitability.
• Coach Sales Executives to improve sales performance and customer experience.
• Ensure FCA compliance in all sales processes.
• Manage daily showroom operations with the management team.

Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced Sales Controller, Used Car Sales Controller or Automotive Sales Controller to join a busy used car supermarket in Hinckley. Applicants must have previous used car sales experience and experience leading or managing an automotive sales team, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. Experience within a high-volume dealership or used car supermarket is desirable.

Hours: 42.5 hours per week | Every Saturday and Sunday essential, with 2 days off during the week

Monday to Friday: Rota basis between 10:00am–9:00pm

Saturday: 10:00am–8:00pm

Sunday: 10:00am–6:00pm

• Experience within a high-volume dealership or used car supermarket is desirable
• Full UK Driving Licence and right to work in the UK
• Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday, with 2 days off during the week
• FCA accreditation or willingness to complete training
