Job summary

SIG Roofing is seeking a proactive Sales Co-ordinator to be the friendly, knowledgeable first point of contact for customers across the UK, handling inquiries, orders, and quotes. You’ll work with the Branch Manager to meet sales targets while promoting our full range of roofing products.

In this role you’ll engage with customers by phone, email, and in person at the trade counter, process orders accurately, and maximise sales opportunities through up-selling and cross-selling.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a sales or customer service role (merchanting or construction industry experience is a bonus).
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
• Good IT and numeracy skills, with attention to detail in processing orders.

Responsibilities

• Engaging with customers on the phone, via email, and at the trade counter.
• Accurately processing orders and providing clear, competitive quotes.
• Maximising every sales opportunity, including up-selling and cross-selling.
• Proactively contacting lapsed or prospective customers.
• Maintaining strong relationships with key accounts.
• Collaborating with warehouse and external sales teams to ensure smooth deliveries.
• Actively contributing to a safe, positive working environment.
