Job summary

SIG Roofing is hiring a Sales Co-ordinator to be the friendly, knowledgeable first point of contact for customers, building relationships, processing orders and helping the branch meet its sales targets. You’ll work with the Branch Manager and team to deliver excellent service both by phone and face-to-face.

You’ll engage with customers at the trade counter, handle enquiries, quotes, and orders, upsell where appropriate, maintain key accounts, and collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure

• Previous experience in a sales or customer service role (merchanting or construction industry experience is a bonus).
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
• Good IT and numeracy skills, with attention to detail in processing orders.
• Ability to build relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Engaging with customers on the phone, via email, and at the trade counter.
• Accurately processing orders and providing clear, competitive quotes.
• Maximising every sales opportunity, including up-selling and cross-selling.
• Proactively contacting lapsed or prospective customers.
• Maintaining strong relationships with key accounts.
• Collaborating with warehouse and external sales teams to ensure smooth deliveries.
• Actively contributing to a safe, positive working environment.
• This role will involve assisting in other areas of the branch, which could include heavy lifting.

Sales Co-ordinator at SIG Roofing

We are looking for a motivated Sales Co-ordinator to join our team, to be the friendly, knowledgeable first point of contact for our customers-building relationships, processing orders, and helping the branch meet its sales targets.

As a Sales Coordinator, you'll work closely with the Branch Manager and wider team to deliver excellent service and drive branch performance. You'll handle customer enquiries, manage accounts, and promote our full range of products both over the phone and face-to-face.
