William Wilson, part of the Wolseley Group, is recruiting for a Part Time Sales Assistant/Warehouse Operative in Aviemore. You will assist customers at the trade counter, handle enquiries by phone/email and support deliveries and stock in the warehouse.

The role centres on delivering outstanding service, carrying heavy items and occasional local van deliveries, with a 20-hour Monday-Thursday schedule.

Competenze

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence is essential.
• Previous face-to-face sales and customer service experience.
• Warehouse experience.
• Ability to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Team player willing to assist in all areas to ensure smooth branch operations.
• Eagerness to learn with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Comfortable lifting heavy items.

As a Part Time Sales Assistant/Warehouse Operative based in Aviemore, you’ll be responsible for:

• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing advice and product recommendations
• Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
• Ensuring that all incoming deliveries comply with the delivery paperwork, handle discrepancies appropriately and put stock away in the warehouse
• Picking and packing items to fulfil customer requirements which will involve manual handling of heavy items e.g. boilers, sinks, radiators, and toilets
• On occasion driving a 3.5T van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to local customers

This is a Part Time permanent position working 20 hours a week, Monday to Thursday 08.00am - 1.00pm
