William Wilson, part of the Wolseley Group, is hiring a Warehouse Operative in Ayr (KA8 9AE). You will handle picking, packing, deliveries, and customer service at the trade counter.

This full-time role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00. In addition to a competitive salary, there are bonuses and a benefits package including pension, annual leave, healthcare access and employee discounts.

Qualificações

• Previous experience in a busy warehouse environment.
• Full UK manual driving license is essential.
• Willingness to learn and complete necessary training.

Responsabilidades

• General warehouse duties including picking & packing customer orders, unloading deliveries and maintaining high standards in the branch.
• Assisting customers at the trade counter by identifying requirements and providing product recommendations.
• Handling customer enquiries via phone and email promptly and courteously.
• Delivering plumbing and heating supplies to customers in the local area when required.

As a Warehouse Operative based in Ayr, you’ll be responsible for:

• General warehouse duties including picking & packing customer orders, unpacking and putting away deliveries which involves manual handling of heavy items e.g. boilers, sinks, radiators, and toilets and ensuring high standards are maintained in the branch
• Assisting customers at the trade counter by identifying their requirements and providing product recommendations
• Dealing with customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
• Delivering plumbing and heating supplies to our customers in the local area when the main driver is on holiday

This is a full time, permanent role working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday between 08:00am - 5.00pm.
