Job summary

William Wilson, part of Wolseley Group, is hiring an Operations Assistant for Inverurie (AB51 4FW). The role involves providing materials, checking goods-in, labelling and picking goods, deputising for supervisors, and occasional van deliveries to local customers.

The position is full-time and permanent, based in Inverurie with a 42.50-hour week from Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings on a 1/3 rota. Competitive salary plus bonus and excellent benefits, including annual leave, a matched

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Prior warehouse experience is required.
• Be a team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch.
• Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Providing a high level of customer service by supplying the correct materials.
• Checking goods-in are correctly delivered against delivery notes and goods are booked in on the system then put away accurately and safely.
• Accurately picking and labelling goods booked out to customers and other branches using the system ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed.
• Deputising for the Operations Supervisor or Manager as required.
• Driving a van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to our customers in the local area when the main driver is off e.g. holiday cover

As an Operations Assistant based in Inverurie, you'll be responsible for:

This is a full time time permanent role working 42.50 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07.30am - 5.00pm and 4.30pm and Saturday mornings on a 1/3 rota basis 08.00am - 12.00pm.
