Plumb Centre Bolton, part of the Wolseley Group, seeks a proactive Sales Assistant to serve trade customers and advise on products. You’ll handle phone/email enquiries, pursue repeat business, and support the branch with stock handling and packing.

The role is full-time at Bolton, 40 hours weekly, Mon-Fri 08:00–17:00 with occasional Sat mornings, with benefits including pension, annual leave, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• A driving licence is beneficial.
• Plumbing & heating knowledge is ideal.
• Previous face-to-face sales and customer service experience.
• Warehouse experience.

Responsabilités

• Serve customers on the trade counter and provide product recommendations.
• Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email promptly.
• Make outbound calls to previous customers to regain business.
• Actively identify opportunities to drive sales within the branch.
• General warehouse duties including stock handling, packing and ordering.
• Deliver to local customers using a 3.5T automatic van.
