Wolseley Group’s Plumb & Parts in Watford is looking for a Sales Assistant on a 20-hour weekly contract. You’ll assist customers on the trade counter, offer product recommendations and quotations, and help process orders with care and accuracy.

You’ll build relationships to drive repeat business, respond to enquiries by phone and email, and support warehouse tasks when needed. A customer‑facing focus and plumbing knowledge are a plus.

Formación

• Experience in face-to-face sales or customer service.
• Strong communication and rapport-building skills.

• Willingness to support in all branch duties.

As a Sales Assistant based in Watford you’ll be responsible for:

• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations and quotations.
• Building relationships with customers with the aim of driving repeat business, enhancing customer experience, and maximising lifetime value.
• Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email providing quotes promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.
• General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the systems and putting it away and picking & packing customer orders.

This is a permanent, part time role, 20 hours per week - Monday to Friday 07:00AM - 11:00AM. Saturday working on router bases 08:00AM - 12:00PM.

• Knowledge in plumbing & heating is beneficial.
• Proven experience in a face to face sales/customer service position.
