Tate is recruiting Sales Advisors for a 12-month hybrid role in Reading to support the processing of new and renewing business energy contracts. The role sits in the Business Energy division and involves logging, quoting and accepting high volumes of electricity and gas contracts, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
You will join a friendly, customer-focused team and work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a shift window from 8:30 to 17:30.

We're recruiting for some Sales Advisors to join a friendly, customer‑focused team within a major UK energy provider. This role will sit in the Business Energy division, supporting the processing of new and renewing energy contracts.
The Sales Support department is responsible for processing all new and renewing business energy supply tenders.
As a Sales Support Advisor your role will be diverse and dynamic, we have opportunities in areas such as pricing, contract retention, renewals, contract administration and securing contracts.
It will be your responsibility to accurately log, quote and accept high volumes of electricity and gas contracts within the commercial sector as well as ad hoc pieces of work related to the role.
It is imperative you have a passion for accuracy to ensure that all work is correct, delivered on time to prospective and renewing customers, and falls within stringent compliance parameters.

You will need some excellent customer service skills to provide a flexible service to both internal and external customers.
Being an excellent rapport builder and communicator is essential as you will be working with all levels.
A strong team work ethic is essential for the role to meet the fast‑paced business demands.
You should be comfortable working closely with your team or independently.
You should also expect to meet targets and manage your own workload.
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, (Word and Excel) is essential.
