Plumb Centre, part of the Wolseley Group, is hiring a Sales Assistant for the Bideford branch. Salary £26,695 + bonus and excellent benefits.

You will serve customers at the trade counter, build relationships for repeat business, handle phone/email inquiries, and assist with warehouse tasks. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week role, Mon–Fri 8am–5pm, with Saturdays on a 1-in-3 rota between 8am–12pm (overtime).

• Knowledge in plumbing & heating is beneficial.
• Proven experience in a face to face sales/customer service position.
• Great communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Great team player and willing to support in all areas of the branch.

Responsabilidades

• Perform general warehouse duties: log stock, put away stock, and pick/pack orders.

As a Sales Assistant based in our Bideford branch you’ll be responsible for:

• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations and quotations.
• Building relationships with customers with the aim of driving repeat business, enhancing customer experience, and maximising lifetime value
• Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email providing quotes promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.
• General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the systems and putting it away and picking & packing customer orders

This is a full time, 40 hour permanent role - Monday to Friday between 8am - 5pm. Saturday working 1 in 3, 8am to 12pm, paid as overtime.
