Wolseley UK Limited, part of the Wolseley Group, is hiring a Sales Assistant for our Bideford branch. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am-5pm with Saturday 8am-12pm on a rotating basis, paid as overtime.

Qualificações

• Proven experience in a face to face sales/customer service position.
• Great communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Knowledge in plumbing & heating is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Serve customers on the trade counter by understanding needs and providing product recommendations and quotations.
• Build relationships with customers to drive repeat business and maximise lifetime value.
• Respond to customer enquiries by phone or email, providing quotes promptly and courteously.
• General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock, putting away, and picking/packing customer orders.

As a Sales Assistant based in our Bideford branch you’ll be responsible for:

• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations and quotations.
• Building relationships with customers with the aim of driving repeat business, enhancing customer experience, and maximising lifetime value.
• Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email providing quotes promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.
• General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the systems and putting it away and picking & packing customer orders.

This is a full time, 40 hour permanent role - Monday to Friday between 8am - 5pm. Saturday working 1 in 3, 8am to 12pm, paid as overtime.
