About the Role

We’re looking for a strategic and commercially minded Account Director – Public Sector to take ownership of key public sector accounts and lead long-term growth. You’ll shape account strategy, build senior relationships, and drive transformational outcomes by aligning CloudClevr’s solutions with public sector needs.

This senior role requires a strong understanding of public sector procurement and a consultative approach.

Occasional travel will be required to other CloudClevr sites throughout the U.K.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the account and growth strategy for a portfolio of named public sector clients
  • Build strategic plans and technology roadmaps with customer involvement
  • Establish and grow relationships with senior/C-level stakeholders
  • Deeply understand public sector frameworks and procurement cycles
  • Partner with vendors and public sector organisations to expand engagement
  • Identify and close cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across the CloudClevr portfolio
  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets and maintain strong pipeline health
  • Manage the full sales cycle using CloudClevr’s structured sales methodology
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to deliver value and service excellence
  • Drive customer satisfaction and continuous improvement, including NPS growth
  • Stay current through formal and informal learning on market and tech trends
  • Promote CloudClevr as a trusted and innovative partner across your accounts

What you’ll bring

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience managing and growing senior public sector relationships
  • Strong background in complex B2B sales and long-cycle public sector deals
  • Understanding of frameworks, procurement rules, and vendor partnerships
  • Ability to build strategic account and growth plans
  • Confident influencing at C-suite or senior director level
  • High degree of commercial awareness and solution selling ability
  • Strong organisational and presentation skills
  • Adherence to all Company Information Security policies and procedures in all aspects of your job role, with emphasis on confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets.
  • Have a duty to take care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your actions at work
  • Experience in tech, telecoms or infrastructure services
  • Strong network in local government, education or healthcare sectors
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate across departments
  • Adaptable, empathetic and passionate about creating long-term customer value
