Job Title: Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Manager

The Role

This role supports the Head of SHEQ in managing quality, safety, health, wellbeing, and environmental aspects across our Wisbech and March sites. Responsibilities include managing systems, documents, processes, and being the first point of contact for SHEQ matters, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met.

Requirements

• Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate or willingness to train and obtain H&S qualifications
• Confidence in training employees on H&S topics and assisting with inductions and presentations
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize workload proactively, with attention to detail
• Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers
• Full driving license and own transport

Key Responsibilities

• Managing Safety Management Systems and ensuring their effectiveness
• Supporting audit preparations and updating systems according to legislation
• Communicating company standards through inductions and safety training
• Investigating non-driving related accidents and reporting findings
• Supporting audits such as BRCGS, TASCC, and SEDEX, including conducting internal audits
• Managing risk assessments and SOPs, ensuring prompt processing and review
• Promoting teamwork and maintaining safety, hygiene, and security standards
