Qualifications

Position: Quality Manager, EMEA Aerospace & Defense

Role Overview: Arrow's Global Components is seeking a Quality Manager for the EMEA Aerospace & Defense sector. You will support the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System in accordance with customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain Quality Assurance System data
  • Handle 8D responses: liaise with customers on quality issues, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions
  • Complete First Article Inspection Reports
  • Conduct fault trend analysis
  • Create quality metrics and KPIs
  • Collaborate with sales teams and distribution personnel
  • Support new business activities with the sales team
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements, standards, and regulations
  • Monitor and improve the effectiveness of the QMS
  • Prepare for customer audits, document findings, and oversee corrective actions
  • Analyze processes for improvement opportunities
  • Work professionally with customers and suppliers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet expectations
  • Generate reports on KPIs and quality metrics

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Quality Management role within Aerospace & Defense
  • Knowledge of AS9100/9120 standards and quality management principles
  • Understanding of aerospace industry regulations and requirements
  • Proficiency with quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, CAPA, 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams
