Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery within a SAFe environment. You will coach teams, facilitate ceremonies, and collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, and senior stakeholders to deliver data and digital solutions.

Hybrid role with Warwick-based teams; you will promote DevOps practices and help improve delivery maturity across multiple teams.

Qualifications

Scrum Master certification preferred (PSM I/II, CSM or equivalent).
Minimum 4 years as Scrum Master supporting technology teams delivering digital/data products.
Strong knowledge of Agile delivery methods: Scrum, Kanban, SAFe.
Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies within cross-functional delivery teams.
Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, communication and conflict resolution skills.
Proven ability to improve team performance, delivery flow and Agile maturity.
Experience using Agile metrics and reporting tools for data-driven decisions.
Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
Knowledge of CI/CD, TDD, and BDD practices.
Experience in matrix organisations and distributed/onshore-offshore teams.

Responsibilities

Facilitate PI Planning events, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Prepare Agile teams for Programme Increment (PI) Planning and support Release Train activities.
Coach and mentor teams on Agile principles, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe best practices.
Work with Product Owners to ensure a prioritised, refined, and delivery-ready backlog.
Identify, manage, and remove risks, dependencies, and delivery impediments.
Track team progress using Agile metrics and continuously improve delivery performance.
Support collaboration across multiple teams to ensure alignment and effective delivery.
Promote DevOps practices and CI/CD.
Foster a collaborative environment with psychological safety and continuous improvement.
Support ART ceremonies and Coach Sync activities.
