Job summary

Brown & Brown (Europe) is seeking a Scrum Master to support two software delivery squads, enabling focus, collaboration and continuous improvement. You will coach teams, facilitate ceremonies and remove impediments across Product, Engineering and external partners in a hybrid London setting.

The role emphasizes servant leadership, trust-building and delivering high-quality outcomes while aligning with agile practices and lean principles.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery professional supporting software teams.
• Experience supporting more than one squad or workstream simultaneously.
• Strong practical knowledge of Scrum; good understanding of Kanban, lean delivery and SDLC.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching and servant leadership skills.
• Ability to build trust, challenge constructively and influence without authority.
• Experience identifying and resolving impediments, risks and dependencies in complex delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Support two squads with dedicated Scrum Master coverage across cross-functional software delivery squads.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily Scrum, refinement, reviews and retrospectives with outcome-focused ceremonies.
• Coach squad members, Product Owners and stakeholders in Scrum, agile and lean principles.
• Identify and resolve impediments; escalate when wider support is required.
• Use delivery metrics and team feedback to drive improvement without penalizing individuals.
• Make risks and dependencies visible and manage cross-squad coordination.
• Foster collaboration across Product, Engineering, Architecture, QA, Operations and external partners.
