Job summary

develop is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join a specialist technology consultancy delivering a major project for a leading European bank. You will empower technical teams, drive continuous improvement and help optimise Agile delivery in a hybrid London setting.

The role focuses on facilitating ceremonies, removing blockers, and collaborating with Product Owners and stakeholders to improve delivery performance.

Qualifications

• Proven Scrum Master in a tech/software environment.
• Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and supporting sprint delivery.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence or Azure DevOps.
• Proactive approach to resolving blockers and improving team performance.
• Experience within financial services, banking or technology consultancy would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• Support teams in applying Scrum principles and Agile best practices.
• Identify and remove impediments that affect delivery.
• Work with Product Owners on backlog refinement and sprint priorities.
• Monitor sprint progress, team capacity and delivery metrics.
• Promote collaboration across technical teams and stakeholders.
• Coach teams to improve delivery effectiveness and self-organisation.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and more efficient ways of working.
