Job summary

King’s College London is seeking a SACM Analyst to support the IT Service Asset and Configuration Management function across the King’s estate. You will work with the SACM Lead to mature asset and configuration processes, ensure accurate data, and support related IT service management activities for staff, students, and associates.

You will assist with asset lifecycle tasks, software licensing, inventories, and CMS governance, delivering high-quality service data while maintaining policy

Qualifications

• ITIL knowledge and SACM experience preferred.
• Good working knowledge of software licensing.
• Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Strong attention to detail and process design abilities.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to write technical documentation.
• Diligent and thorough problem-solving approach.
• Experience in ITIL-based service management.
• Understanding of high-end IT Service Desk operations.
• Experience/understanding of SACM.
• HE environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support SACM Manager in delivering best practice and developing policies and procedures.
• Assist with audits and licence/hardware asset planning.
• Manage software licensing renewals and subscription licenses.
• Provide desktop support to staff and visitors.
• Contribute to IT knowledge base and policy documentation.
• Travel to other sites as required.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify risks and opportunities and communicate them.
