Christopher Ali has partnered with an innovative UK-based SaaS start-up that is at a pivotal stage of growth and is seeking a Senior Ruby Developer to join their team.

They have already developed industry-leading software for several household names and are preparing for their next phase of expansion.

The Role :

They are looking for experienced developers who are excited about building novel solutions. Facing unique business and scalability challenges, they need talented problem solvers to address distinctive technical issues.

The ideal candidate has extensive commercial experience in developing secure, scalable, and maintainable systems.

The current tech stack includes Rails extensively, along with Python and Go for supporting services.

The team adopts a pragmatic approach, selecting the best tools for each problem, and candidates will take a lead role in developing core technology stacks across multiple languages and frameworks.

Skills Required :

• Experience with Rails (or similar frameworks)
• Experience managing large systems with a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) approach
• API development and integration experience
• Experience testing complex applications using a test-driven approach
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining full-stack applications
• Experience with image manipulation tools like OpenCV is a plus

This is a fully remote role. The team is distributed across the UK and internationally. While occasional meetings and social events are held in person, your daily work will primarily be from home.
