Christopher Ali has partnered with an innovative UK-based SaaS start-up that is at a pivotal point in its growth and is seeking a Senior Ruby Developer to join the team.

They have developed industry-leading software for several household names and are preparing for their next phase of expansion.

The Role :

They are looking for experienced developers who are excited about building unprecedented solutions. Facing unique business and scaling challenges, they need problem solvers to tackle technical hurdles.

The ideal candidate has extensive commercial experience solving problems in secure, scalable, and maintainable ways.

The current tech stack includes Rails extensively, along with Python and Go for supporting services.

The company adopts a pragmatic approach, using the best tools for each problem, and candidates will take a lead role in developing core technology stacks across multiple languages and frameworks.

Skills Required :

• Experience with Rails (or similar frameworks)
• Experience operating large systems (following and SRE approach)
• API development and integration experience
• Experience testing large, complex applications using test-driven development
• Designing, building, and maintaining applications covering both frontend and backend
• Experience with OpenCV and/or other image manipulation tools is a plus

This is a fully remote role. The team is distributed across the UK and internationally. While there are occasional meetings and social events, your day-to-day work will be from home.
