Christopher Ali has partnered with an innovative UK-based SaaS startup that is at a pivotal point in its growth and is seeking a Senior Ruby Developer to join their team.

They have already developed industry-leading software for well-known clients and are preparing for their next phase of expansion.

The Role :

They are looking for experienced developers who are excited about building innovative solutions. With unique business and scaling challenges, they need talented problem solvers to tackle technical hurdles.

The ideal candidate has extensive commercial experience solving problems in a secure, scalable, and maintainable manner.

The current tech stack includes Ruby on Rails extensively, along with Python and Go for supporting services.

The company is pragmatic about choosing the best tools for the task and expects candidates to take a leading role in developing their core technology stack across multiple languages and frameworks.

Skills Required :

• Experience with Rails (or similar frameworks)
• Experience operating large systems, following SRE principles
• API development and integration experience
• Experience testing complex applications using a test-driven approach
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining both frontend and backend applications
• Experience with OpenCV or other image manipulation tools (helpful but not mandatory)

This is a fully remote role. The team is distributed across the UK and internationally. While there are occasional meetings and social events, daily work will be from home.
