Job summary

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a 6-month fixed term Band 4 RTT/Patient Pathway Validator to support RTT validation across the Trust and Mount Vernon Hospital. This post focuses on ensuring accurate, robust information for performance reporting and helps manage patients through the RTT pathway.

The Trust is implementing a new Data Information System, an upgrade to PAS and related changes; the role will help embed sustainable processes and to maintain high-quality RTT

Responsibilities

• Validate RTT pathways across the Trust PTL to ensure accurate data for performance reporting.
• Support validation arising from the PAS upgrade during the initial go live and embedding processes.
• Plan, prioritise and allocate work packages for all team members.
• Assist induction for all new team members.
• Provide specialist RTT knowledge and support for Outpatient and Inpatient Booking teams to improve effectiveness.
• Co-ordinate the work of the team to meet validation targets for volume and accuracy within timescales.
• Use Cerner, NHS eRS and other systems to interpret RTT pathway data and enable accurate submissions.
